What does an accident after a Husker weekend look like?
Nebraska hosts Indiana at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM CDT. Say the guest checks out Sunday, October 11, and you find a urine stain:

Lincoln's license application already asks for an emergency contact who can reach the property within 45 minutes, which makes that person the first responder on a game weekend. Sleep Sanitation explains why urine odor can come back after a mattress dries.
What does Airbnb say it covers?
Airbnb's host damage protection page, which sets the 14-day filing window, lists extra cleaning to remove stains left by guests or pet accidents, and smoke odor removal, as covered; normal checkout cleaning, such as laundry, dishes or trash removal, is not. After you file, the guest has 24 hours to respond. The 2026 terms pay only cleaning costs above the cleaning fees you charged and list receipts, bills or invoices among the documents Airbnb wants, so keep our invoice and inspection form with the request. What if the mattress can't be saved?
Lancaster County residents take household loads to the North 48th Street Solid Waste Management Facility, 5101 North 48th Street, phone 402-441-8104, with the load covered and secured; the Bluff Road site at 6001 Bluff Road serves refuse haulers. - Kickoff times for October 31 and November 21, which Nebraska still lists as TBA, for planning the next game weekends.
What do hosts ask?
Is an ordinary guest accident included in your price?
Yes. Normal stains, pet odor and ordinary urine accidents are included in the published price on our pricing page, and a severe or biohazard case carries a surcharge that you hear before any work starts.
Will Airbnb reimburse my cleaning bill?
We can't promise that. Airbnb says host damage protection isn't insurance, reviews each request, and pays only cleaning costs above the cleaning fee you charged.
Who handles a guest accident on a game weekend?
Lincoln's license application asks for an emergency contact who can reach the property within 45 minutes; that person can strip the bed on Sunday, and we take it from Monday.
